Cycling in the immediate vicinity from 'Knooppunt 25' was an absolute delight. The tranquil surroundings and picturesque trails made me feel like I was pedaling through a fairytale land. I couldn't believe the beauty that unfolded before my eyes at every turn. It was truly a magical experience.
Road noise disrupted sleep.

This cozy and quiet room in the old part of the hotel feels like a hidden gem. With a single bed, desk, and a Nespresso machine, it's perfect for a solo traveler like me. The blackout curtains ensure a peaceful night's sleep, and the ensuite bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower adds a touch of luxury.
Personally, I found the flat screen TVs in both the bedroom and the living room to be a bit unnecessary. But hey, I understand that some people might enjoy having multiple screens to watch different shows or sports games.

I stayed at Hotel Nieuw Antiek in Helden for one night and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was beautifully preserved in its original style, yet had all the modern amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The friendly hosts made sure all my requests were met, including an early breakfast that was prepared perfectly on time. The breakfast itself was delicious and varied, providing a great start to my day. The hotel's location was surprisingly quiet, despite being near a busy street, and there was a convenient bus stop just a 2-minute walk away. Highly recommended accommodation!
Can recommend this hotel.

Loved the cozy and traditional atmosphere of the hotel, it felt like stepping back in time but with all the modern comforts. the staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our romantic escape special. the room was spacious and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the breakfast was delicious and varied, giving us the perfect start to our day. the hotel's location was ideal, close to the motorway and easily accessible.
The village itself didn't offer much in terms of activities, but it was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing night's rest. Upon entering our room, there was a slight funny smell which we quickly resolved by opening the window.
